"Dodo Trail" is an international sporting event which attracts experienced and new runners from all over the world. It comprises 3 tracks:  Xtreme Dodo Trail (50 km), Ti Dodo Trail (25 km) et le Mini Dodo Trail (10 km). The trail is renowned for being the most difficult track of Mauritius, whilst leading to its most magnificent views, earning its tagline of "From Hell to Paradise". The Dodo trail consists of 100% mountain plots and crosses through mountain peaks, including the highest peak of Mauritius, Piton de la Petite Riviere- Noire. It goes through rugged tracks and the rich, endemic woods of the west coast, including the Black River Gorges National park, part of the World Heritage sites of UNESCO.
